Hair & beauty shouldn't cost the earth, should it?
Salons can produce a lot of waste. From hair, chemicals, fillers.. the waste generated can be extensive and hard to dispose of. Most of the waste can't easily go in any of the standard bins, and salon waste foil is usually too small in size to go through recycling sorting machines.
At Altered Images Hair & Body we are proud to be a Sustainable Salon, which means we are committed to preserving the environment and our communities.
We have in-salon collection bins that collect chemicals, hair, metals, paper and plastics. Waste from each bin is bagged up separately, placed in the purple wheelie bin and collected at set intervals by Sustainable Salons’ fleet of vans.
Sustainable salon = less landfill = happy environment
